Current Vacancies

Works Manager, Dublin (Permanent Contract)

  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm & rotated on call as Duty Officer
  • Salary Negotiable

Providing support to the Section Manager in relation to all Maintenance & Operations and local HR and Finance related activities and ensuring the Company meets compliance with statutory obligations and best practice.

• Procurement: Raising PO’s and supplying back up paperwork (bid comparisons) and signing off invoices
• Monitoring Holidays, working hours and sickness (principle responsibility)
• Delivery of Toolbox Talks
• Preparation of costings for works orders, public lighting and accident damage repair works.
• Depot Development Works (instruction from Section Manager)
• Depot Maintenance Works (principle responsibility)
• Monitoring and Management of Salt Usage.
• Depot health and safety issues,GA1, GA2 and GA3 forms
• Vehicle and plant maintenance and servicing
• PPE, tools and equipment monitoring
• Ensuring MAR compliance
• Drafting Method statements and Risk assessments for review (principle responsibility)
• Updating MSDS Folder (principle responsibility)
• O&M/Subcontractor Meetings/Internal Staff meetings (Ops), Safety Committee co-ordination and meetings
• Programming and Planning Works
• Reviewing Reports/Procedures (Landscape/Flood/Winter/Incidents etc.)
• On Call Duties (rotated)
• Support response coordination, and recording
• inspections of site works, quality control,
• Advise the HR Manager and Line Managers on employee performance, conduct and absence management
• Coordinate training programs, liaising with HR and external training bodies when required, ensure training is relevant in works and maintain up-to-date training matrix for all staff.
• Provide support and advice to local employees on Health and Safety related matters.
• Assist in the development, training and change management of digital media implementation throughout the organisation and any other improved business systems implemented by the Company
• Any other duties and responsibilities as required by the role

Maintenance Operative

  • Traffic management experience desirable(not essential as training will be provided)
  • HGV Licence preferable
  • Winter Maintenance service provision
  • Worked in civil/construction industry is desirable
  • Experience in Motorway/Road Maintenance desirable
  • Driving licence mandatory

Network Inspector THIS POSITION IS NOW FILLED

  • Relevant Engineering Qualifications and Work experience in civil/construction industry are desirable
  • Ability to work on your own and take direction from Management
  • Experience in Motorway/Road Maintenance is desirable
  • Full Driving licence is mandatory
  • Strong Computer and communication skills a must
  • Excellent organisational, observational and  effective reporting abilities
